We are looking for a Software Engineer for George's application management for George.

Collaborate closely with colleagues from the ideation of features through to the conceptual and planning phases
Bring innovative and delightful designs to life
The team of George is the gatekeeper for the central JSON over HTTP API development, so we deal with all kinds of clients and handle stacks of data, but you will take these details in your stride and make George shine for the user
At least a few years of professional experience with Java or Kotlin
A good grip on building and designing HTTP APIs written in Java
A clear understanding of the Spring ecosystem and the way Spring applications are written
Knowledge of working with search technology and/or distributed systems in general
Some experience with Elasticsearch or other distributed search and analytic engines
A love for code quality and testing
Those who iterate fast, without compromising quality, while taking care of detail.
EU citizens or those that hold a valid visa, permit, or trade license with the right-to-work in the country that the position is based. This includes relevant work visas, residence permits, EU Blue Card, or a British national living in the EU with the correct UK Brexit withdrawal agreement documentation.
